The Air Jordan 6 ‘Olympics’ were first worn by NBA-stars Ray Allen and Vin Baker of Team USA as they won gold in Sydney at the 2000 Olympic games. Released to the public in September of 2000, the sneakers retroed in 2012 to commemorate the London Olympic Games. The 2012 Air Jordan 6 Retro ‘Olympic’ sneakers differ slightly from the 2000 release with its navy midsole (instead of white) but it retains the icy blue translucent outsole and traditional Air Jumpman branding elements.
